Several countries are on the UAE visa ban list for 2026.
These include Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Sudan, and Uganda. While Nigeria has been mentioned in some reports, its status remains unconfirmed.
The travel restrictions are typically linked to offences such as entering the UAE with fake visas, using forged documents, overstaying, or having pending criminal cases. Working without a valid UAE work permit is also a common reason for being barred.
Although the bans affect many seeking work or travel opportunities, they underscore the importance of compliance with visa rules and legal requirements.
The measures also reflect the UAEโs efforts to regulate immigration and uphold security.
