Land disputes remain one of the leading causes of violence in Kenya, often pitting family members against each other. According to a report by The Nation, unresolved inheritance cases and unclear land ownership structures continue to fuel such deadly conflicts.
Earlier this year, similar family-related land clashes were reported in Nakuru and Kakamega counties, underscoring the need for better conflict resolution mechanisms.
Police have assured the public that investigations are ongoing and that justice will be served. The incident has once again highlighted the devastating consequences of unresolved land wrangles within families.
