The Kenyan-Tanzanian beef has been reignited once again, with the latter trolling Kenyans following the Harambee Stars’ 3-1 World Cup Qualifiers loss to Gambia at the Kasarani International Stadium.

Tanzanians are destroying Kenyans with reckless abandon after they managed a 1-1 draw against Congo in an away match.

Playing on home soil, Harambee Stars was poised to win due to a couple of leverages, from home advantage to having a skillful and tactful coach, not to mention the availability of foreign stars like the team’s captain, Michael Olunga.

Additionally, the inclusion of local-based players who dazzled at the recently concluded CHAN Championship gave fans hope of triumphing.

However, the hope Kenyans had fizzled out long before the match was over.

Harambee Stars kept losing easy balls, with the visitors’ agility evident. What followed was punishment after punishment, with the single equalizer coming in as a miracle thanks to the double changes.

Following the new development, Tanzanians raptured in joy in the now-infamous banter between the two neighboring Swahili-speaking nations.

From affirmations that we could borrow their team to bail us out to savage suggestions that our good English failed to do the magic, huh?

We sampled a few of the reactions below.

“Mje tuwasaidie Taifa stars wawapunguzie mapigo.”

“Kwani leo kizungu chenyu kimefeli.”

“Leo mmeyatimbaa”

“Tupo nanyi hadi mfe.”

Meanwhile, Harambee Stars is scheduled to play Seychelles on Tuesday in another World Cup Qualifiers match.

The Kenya-Tanzania rivalry also played out during the recently concluded CHAN Championship, where Tanzanians taunted Kenyans following their elimination from the tournament before they were also sent home.
