American rapper and record producer Kasseem Daoud Dean popularly known as Swizz Beatz has denied rumors of cheating and divorce between him and his celebrity wife Alicia Keys.

Taking to his Instagram, Swizz shared a video playfully enjoying his time with Alicia while seemingly throwing shade at the divorce allegations amid celebrating their 15-year anniversary.

“Everybody knew we was divorced but us,” he fired alongside cry-laughing emojis. “We found out on our 15-year anniversary vacation”.

In a continuation, Swizz further asserted that people tend to believe rumors over truth because they’re living miserable lives.

However, he noted that that doesn’t deny them sleep at all.

“People rather believe fake gossip instead of the truth because they’re miserable we have nothing to do with that!!! Bless up!!” he fired.

Chronology

Swizz and Alicia’s divorce rumors kicked off the internet this summer after a YouTuber known as MissTee claimed that Swizz cheated on Alicia fathering a child outside their marriage which led to Alicia filing for divorce.

According to MissTee, the story originated from social media which has since gone viral with many affirming that the couple were headed for a divorce.

How They Met

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys bumped into each other in the 1990s before reconnecting in 2008.

This was followed by their engagement and their first pregnancy announcement two years later and their subsequent marriage in July 2010.

The celebrity couple share two children together, Egypt Daoud and Genesis Ali, while Swizz has three other children from his previous relationships, Prince Nasir, Kasseem Jr. and Nicole.

In July, Alicia celebrated her 15-year marriage to Beatz with a heartwarming tribute crafted with lyrics on social media.
