Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has reiterated the need for peaceful Co-existence in Nakuru.
Speaking in Naivasha, Kihika was categorical that she will not watch and allow any individual to come and mess the peace in Nakuru.
She pointed out that Nakuru has had the scars of skirmishes and no Nakurian would like to go back to the days of darkness.
Kihika who will be defending her seat come 2027, said she will always advocate for peaceful Nakuru.
According to her, without peace no development can be realized in any part of Nakuru.
She called on residents of Nakuru to shun any leader who comes to cause division in Nakuru on basis of tribe, political parties or ethnicity.
“I am one of those leaders who has vowed that we shall not allow division in Nakuru on any basis be it political or tribal. We know where we have come from and we will never want to go back to such days,” she stated.
Kihika at the same time called on residents of Nakuru to support her administration towards making Nakuru a better County.
