It all began with a meeting in Rongai that saw Governor Susan Kihika and Nakuru Leaders burry their differences for the sake of citizens.

The leaders vowed to work together to ensure service delivery to the people.

And true to their words, Governor Kihika together with other leaders have been visiting various subcounties meeting with opinion leaders.

According to Kihika, the engagements that have so far taken place in Rongai, Kuresoi North, Kuresoi South, Molo, Njoro, Nakuru Town East, Nakuru Town West Constituencies, play crucial role in providing a platform for listening to the people.

On Friday August 29, 2025 Governor Susan Kihika accompanied by Woman Rep Liza Chelule, MP Samwel Arama(Nakuru Town West) and Irene Njoki(Bahati) attended a similar meeting in Naivasha.

Kihika maintains that the consultative meetings with opinion leaders aims to deepen collaboration between county leadership and grassroots stakeholders, with discussions centered on accelerating key development priorities for various subcounties.

.ke crew has been in some of the meetings and it is clear that the locals are given opportunity to air some of the challenges that they want the County Government to address.

With focus on service delivery, Governor Kihika also uses the platform to highlight development projects that her administration has been able to roll out in specific sub-counties.
