Controversial Black American YouTuber J Rello has been evicted from an Airbnb in Nairobi after a string of explosive incidents involving his live-streamed content and alleged mistreatment of women.

The content creator, who built a following with provocative travel vlogs, is now facing backlash after all three of his YouTube channels were banned over allegations of assaulting female guests during live streams.

A disturbing video circulating online shows a woman, reportedly naked, crying for her phone while another woman tries to calm the situation. Rello admitted that he had agreed to pay Ksh 6,000 to film their encounter but claimed the woman later demanded more after realizing he was profiting from the content.

According to Rello, his stay turned chaotic when the Wi-Fi and power were disconnected. He further alleged that his hosts threatened to call police if he did not vacate the property.

The YouTuber lashed out at Kenyans online, accusing them of cyberbullying and claiming that many were โ€œhating the countryโ€ instead of him.

This is not Relloโ€™s first clash with locals. In 2024, he triggered outrage after calling Kenyan women โ€œunattractive,โ€ a remark that forced him to relocate for safety following public threats. Despite announcing plans to leave Kenya, Rello stayed behind, where his controversial behavior has reportedly led to more disputes and financial setbacks.

With his channels terminated and his Nairobi stay cut short, it remains unclear whether J Rello will finally leave Kenya or continue pursuing content that has increasingly placed him at odds with local communities.
