The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced a 50 per cent reduction in ticket prices for Kenyaโs last home game in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, in an effort to draw bigger crowds to the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
In a statement on Sunday, September 7, FKF confirmed that Gold tickets will now go for Ksh500, down from Ksh1,000.
The federation noted that the offer will remain available on the official ticketing portal until 4 p.m. on Monday, September 8.
“Youโve lit up Kasarani in every home game. Now, one last time โ letโs fill the stands and push Harambee Stars past Seychelles,” a statement from FKF read.ย

The Football Kenya Federationโs decision to slash ticket prices for Kenyaโs final home World Cup qualifier has been widely viewed as a last attempt to lure fans back to Kasarani, following Harambee Starsโ 3-1 loss to Gambia on Friday.
That defeat, combined with Gabonโs 4-0 thrashing of Seychelles on September 3, mathematically ended Kenyaโs hopes of reaching the 2026 World Cup.
The revised pricing also echoes past fan demands. During the African Nations Championships (CHAN), Gold tickets went for Ksh500 and regular tickets as low as Ksh200โrates that helped fill the 46,000-seater Kasarani,
This is especially considering that Kenya co-hosted the tournament. However, attendance has dropped significantly since the Starsโ quarter-final elimination by Madagascar.
Since CHAN kicked off in August, Harambee Stars have played six games at Kasarani, including the recent loss to Gambia.
Tuesdayโs clash with Seychelles could be the last high-profile match Kenyan fans enjoy at the venue for some time, with the teamโs next World Cup qualifiers scheduled away to Burundi on October 6 and Ivory Coast a week later.
Separately, Gambia will face Burundi in another World Cup qualifier on Tuesday, September 9, at Nyayo Stadium from 10 p.m.
