This will be made possible through KenInvest.
MITI Cabinet Secretary Lee Kinyanjui revealed that the opportunities will include promoting same at investment and trade forums, and I. International missions.
โAs MITI, we will work closely with Konza through KenInvest to package and promote its opportunities at investment and trade forums, and in international missions,โ he stated.
According to Kinyanjui, the focus is towards positioning Konza as the premier destination for ICT players to live, work, and play.
While pointing out that data is the worldโs biggest industry, Kinyanjui stated that Kenya has the potential to become the continentโs data hub and that at the heart of this vision is Konza Technopolis.
Kinyanjui spoke when he joined colleagues CS William Kabogo (ICT) and CS Rebecca Miano (Tourism) on a visit to Konza Technopolis.
He added that the synergy between ICT, Tourism, and Investments is vital to realizing Konzaโs dream of becoming Africaโs Silicon Savanna.
The visit was also attended by PS John Tanui (ICT), Dr. Juma Mukhwana (Industry), Abubakar Hassan (Investment Promotion), and Senate ICT Chairperson Allan Chesang.
