Fast-rising social media influencer and singer Lola Doll was recently hospitalised after being shot multiple times.

The incident happened while she was sitting in her car outside her home in Georgetown, Guyana, over the weekend.

The attack occurred at around 11.30 PM on Saturday, September 6, according to preliminary reports from the Guyana Police Force.

Guyana police said the 33-year-old influencer was shot several times in the neck, face, hands, and right leg.

She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and was reported to be in critical condition.

According to initial reports, authorities suspect that a male gunman on a motorcycle carried out the attack.

Investigations have since been launched, with police reviewing CCTV footage from the area and actively pursuing the prime suspect.

On Sunday, September 7, police released a wanted flyer, listing the offence as attempted murder.

Lola Doll is a social media influencer and music artiste from East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, Guyana.

She is popular on Instagram as @loladoll_gydolly, where she has nearly 53,000 followers.

Earlier this year, her fame skyrocketed after releasing her song Cement Body, which boasts over 430,000 views on YouTube.

The attack stunned many, with fans expressing concern for Lola Doll’s condition.
