Podcaster and content creator Adelle Onyango has opened up about why her marriage to ex-hubby Falgun Bhojak ended.

The former radio presenter opened up about her divorce during an episode of The Moth.

Adelle recalled Christmases with her mum, who sadly passed away, and how the traditions her mum had were passed down to her.

The podcaster said that after their mum died, she and her sisters tried to keep the tradition and the Christmas spirit alive.

Adelle recalled getting married to her ex, who was from a different culture.

During their third year of dating, she revealed that she gave him her deal breakers. One was that they must spend Christmas with her family.

Adelle admitted that despite maintaining their Christmas traditions, she hated the apartment they lived in.

Cracks in their marriage started to show, and she revealed that she hated the apartment they were living in.

During their third Christmas together, her ex confronted her about some of her choices. She was no longer wearing her wedding ring.

He also wanted a child, and Adelle muttered that she was tired of the marriage, which was ultimately on its deathbed.

Adelle then moved out of their apartment, and the divorce wasn’t smooth; it took a toll on her mental and physical health.
