Afrobeats superstar Davido and his wife Chioma crowned their long-running love story with a lavish white wedding in Miami over the weekend, attended by a glittering guest list that included American gospel icon Kirk Franklin and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.

The Miami ceremony follows their traditional wedding held in Lagos in June 2024 and a private court wedding in March 2023.

The festivities began with themed pre-wedding parties, including a vibrant “Havana Night” soirée, and showcased multiple glamorous looks from the couple.

Guests were asked to adhere to a strict black-tie dress code, with white and cream reserved exclusively for the bride and groom. The wedding blended high-end luxury with heartfelt moments, including Davido’s emotional vow to Chioma: “You are my peace, my home.”

From private jet arrivals, Lamborghini entrances and lavish décor to multiple outfit changes and a lively reception with dancing, cake-cutting, and fireworks, every detail was meticulously curated.

Professional photographers and videographers documented the event, with highlight reels flooding social media within hours.

The celebration also marked a new beginning for the couple, who in October 2022 suffered the tragic loss of their three-year-old son, Ifeanyi, in a drowning incident at their Lagos home.
