The 2025 National Rugby Sevens Series Circuit  is set for an exhilarating finish this weekend with the Dala Sevens scheduled September 13-14th at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium,Mamboleo, Kisumu.

KCB RFC and Strathmore Leos are  locked in a fierce battle for the overall crown, and it will be interesting to witness the battle and who will triumph or fall at the last hurdle.

“The Dala Sevens has grown to become one of the most competitive and colorful tournaments in the country, and this year will be no different. We are ready to host the rugby family in Kisumu for an unforgettable weekend,” said Kisumu RFC Chairman, Gabriel Ouma, as the lakeside city braces for the grand finale of the 2025 National Sevens Circuit.

Speaking on the preparations, Kisumu RFC Chairman, Gabriel Ouma, expressed confidence in delivering a memorable experience both on and off the pitch.

“The Dala Sevens has grown to become one of the most competitive and colorful tournaments in the country, and this year will be no different. We are ready to host the rugby family in Kisumu for an unforgettable weekend. Tusker’s support has played a big role in elevating the quality of the tournament, and we expect fans to turn out in large numbers to enjoy world-class rugby and the unique Dala Sevens atmosphere.”

This year’s tournament has received a boost from Tusker which has confirmed a Ksh. 3 million sponsorship in support of Dala Sevens.

KCB Rugby lead the circuit with 104 points and require only a semi-final berth to secure the championship, while Strathmore Leos (95 points) will be banking on a perfect run at Dala to keep their hopes alive.
