Willis Raburuโs ex-wife, Marya Prude, has spoken candidly about her life after divorce, her dating preferences, and her views on motherhood. In a recent interview, the fitness enthusiast revealed how she navigated the challenges of starting over and the lessons she has learned along the way.
Marya recalled that when she began dating again after her separation from the media personality, she faced stigma. Many people struggled to understand how someone who looked young could already have gone through a marriage and divorce. โWhen I tell someone I have been divorced, they are like, โwhen did you get married?โ I got married very young, at 23,โ she said. She added that she feels healthier, more confident, and happier today compared to the time she was married.
She encouraged women to take time to explore their options before settling down. According to her, dating different people helps one understand what they want in a long-term partner. Despite her past, Marya said she still believes in marriage and even looks forward to having a wedding in the future. โI have always wanted to be a wife, itโs just that now itโs different,โ she explained.
When it comes to children, however, Marya was clear about her decision. She revealed that she has no plans of getting pregnant again, citing health challenges from her previous pregnancy. After losing a child, she sought a second medical opinion and was told that her blood condition had affected the placenta. The complication deprived the baby of enough oxygen. Doctors explained that if she ever conceived again, she would require significant medical support and extended bed rest. โI was like yeah, I am not doing that again,โ she admitted.
Instead, Marya said she would prefer to find a partner who already has children. She expressed that she is open to being a stepmother and is comfortable taking on that role without experiencing another pregnancy herself.
Her honesty about divorce, healing, and redefining her future has resonated with many fans. Maryaโs story highlights the reality of moving forward after a difficult breakup and the importance of making personal choices that prioritize health and happiness.
