Nairobi City County Chief Officer for Environment Geoffrey Mosiria is facing backlash from netizens after referring to popular American rapper Cardi B as a mere “Hawker”.
Drama unfolded when Mosiria took to his X account formerly Twitter and shared a screenshot of Cardi B promoting her new album on the streets of America.
Additionally, Mosiria went on and directed Cardi B to move her album hawking from the main streets to the backstreets to avoid blocking pedestrians.
“Huyu hawker ako wapi hapa. She should operate from backstreet to avoid blocking pedestrians” captioned Mosiria.
Mosiria’s post has since seen netizens trolling him with left, right, and center with affirmations that he’s not yet ‘woke’.
Subsequently, a section has also turned it into a comical arena while affirming that he’s using unconventional method to get the “Bodak” hit maker’s attention.

Despite the overwhelming trolls, others nudged Mosiria to keep on keeping on in his quest to make the environment clean.
In the meantime, Cardi B is currently promoting her new album dubbed “Am I The Drama”, which she noted that her record label had advised her to push it on the streets.
