Kenyan football has entered a new era of stability following the Football Kenya Federationโ€™s landmark Sh1.12 billion sponsorship deal with gaming giant SportPesa.

The agreement not only secures financial backing for the next decade but also ushers in a new identity for the countryโ€™s top division, now officially branded as the SportPesa League.

The 2025/26 season kicks off with exciting fixtures that promise early drama and rivalry. Tusker and KCB will open the campaign on Friday evening at Nyayo Stadium, setting the stage for an action-packed weekend.

On Saturday, Kariobangi Sharks face Bandari at Kasarani Annex, followed by AFC Leopards clashing with Sofapaka at Ulinzi Complex.

Sundayโ€™s lineup will keep fans entertained across the country. Shabana hosts APS Bomet at Gusii Stadium, while newcomers Murangโ€™a Seal welcome Ulinzi Stars at the newly named SportPesa Arena.

The weekend will wrap up with a blockbuster encounter as defending champions Gor Mahia take on Bidco United at Kasarani Stadium.
