The properties at auction include apartments, maisonettes, townhouses, and parcels of land, with bidders required to pay a refundable deposit of KSh 500,000 to participate.

The properties at auction were seized by the commission because they were linked to corruption and economic crimes such as theft of public money.

The sale follows court orders allowing the Commission to dispose of properties linked to corruption and economic crimes.

In a public notice shared on Monday, September 22, 2025, EACC said the auction will be conducted through Galaxy Auctioneers, Keysian Auctioneers, and Astoria Auctioneers in Nairobi, Kisumu, and Migori counties on various dates in October.

Interested buyers must inspect the properties and verify all details, as neither the Auctioneers nor the EACC guarantee their accuracy.

To participate in the auction, bidders are required to pay a refundable KSh 500,000 deposit via bankerโ€™s cheque to the EACC to obtain a bid number and entry pass.

Successful buyers must pay a 10% deposit of the purchase price to the EACC by the end of the auction day or forfeit the bid, with the remaining 90% payable within 60 days.
