Exiled Bongo Flava rapper Roma Mkatoliki has reminded his rival Joh Makini that he’s not his match.
The development comes in the backdrop of Joh Makini’s recent interview where he noted that Roma Mkatoliki raps with one flow and doesn’t qualify to diss someone like him and his brother who’re geniuses as far as hip-hop is concerned.
This was in reference to Roma’s previous song dubbed “Mechi Za Ugenini” which hip-hop fans claimed was directed at Joh Makini and his younger brother and politician Nikki Wa Pili.
“Sisi hatujawahi kukutana na kitu kama hicho, actually sidhani kama alikukwa anazungumzia mimi na Nikki kwa sababu mimi na Nikki watu wazito sana kwenye kiwanda cha muziki wa hiphop na kwa mtu kama huyo ambaye anarap flow moja hawezi kutuzungumzia sisi hivyo” asserted Joh Makini in part.
Taking to his Instagram, Roma Mkatoliki shared Joh Makini’s interview throwing shade at him with a series of slides capturing several of his back to back releases in proving the latter was wrong about his alleged “one flow”.
Additionally, while captioning the moment, Roma noted that Joh Makini was yet to move on from their previous beefing even after becoming a parent.
Subsequently, Roma noted that despite focusing on political activism, he was ready to tackle Joh Makini.
“Yo’ John @johmakinitz
I thought tumekua watu wazima sasa, Ivan anaingia form 1, King ana miaka 10 now!
Naona umeshindwa ku move on?
Come on…move on chalii!!
Unataka turudi tulipotoka?
I am ready!!
Though nime focus sana na mambo ya siasa na kuwasemea wananchi wetu…usinitoe kwenye reli” fired Roma in part.
Roma went further and noted that Joh Makini is boasting of having different flows when the same flows are the ones digging his grave.
Furthermore, he added that no one is paying attention to Joh Makini’s music with the last time since he released a hit song being six year ago huh?
Moreover, Roma explained that Joh Makini used to be hyped on a certain radio station which no longer gives him attention.
Nonetheless, he summed up by affirming that he’s a good rapper who has also inspired many upcoming rappers.
However, he reminded him to get his facts right whenever he’s opening his mouth to respond to a question during interviews.
