NCBA Bankโs leadership team hit the road in Central Kenya last week, reaffirming its commitment to customers and communities while driving growth in the region.
From September 19, NCBA Kenya Managing Director James Gossip, accompanied by senior leaders Jane Ngโangโa (Head of Branches) and Jacquie Muhati (Head of Brands), embarked on a tour that spanned Kerugoya, Karatina, and Nyeri.
The visits brought the leadership closer to customers and showcased the bankโs resolve to strengthen its footprint in one of Kenyaโs most dynamic regions.
โAt NCBA, we believe customer obsession begins from Within. Thatโs why our Go Getters, our Internal champions, are our first customers. Itโs a principle James Gossip, MD, NCBA Kenya, continues to uphold as we continue to build a culture of excellence,โ said the bank in a statement.
At each stop, the team visited NCBA branches, engaged staff, and held open conversations with customers. Beyond the banking halls, they paid visits to some of the regionโs leading enterprises, including Agitech Seedlings and Johjam Printing, recognizing the critical role SMEs play in fueling local economies.
The day was capped with customer luncheons and dinners in Kerugoya and Karatinaโmoments designed not just for networking but for listening, learning, and reinforcing long-term partnerships.
On the second day, Mr. Gossip paid a courtesy call to the Mwai Kibaki Referral Hospital, one of Central Kenyaโs most vital health institutions. Discussions centered on ways NCBA can empower the facility to expand and scale its services, underlining the bankโs belief that stronger communities pave the way for stronger economies.
The Mwai Kibaki Hospital team also showcased their impressive Oxygen Production Unit, a facility that not only ensures self-sufficiency for the hospital in times of need but also supplies oxygen to other hospitals at subsidized rates.
โIt was yet another inspiring and insightful stop on the Central Circuit as our leadership team explored opportunities to support healthcare institutions in delivering impactful services to the community,โ said the bank.
โNCBA is about more than bankingโwe are about powering growth and building connections that matter,โ Gossip noted during the tour.
The Central Kenya visit underscores NCBA Bankโs customer-first philosophy and its wider mission to create opportunities, support businesses, and uplift communities across the country.
