Teachers Service Commission is pleased to announce that JEPKOSGEI CHEMOIWA, TSC/524233, is the current winner of the 2025 African Union Continental Best Teacher Award.

She is a Physics and Mathematics Teacher at Emining Boys High School, Baringo County.

The African Union’s Continental Best Teacher Award, established in 201 9, is an annual award given to outstanding Teachers who demonstrate excellence in teaching, fostering positive values, and making a significant impact on their students and communities across Africa.

Jepkosgei exemplified these tenets and by being nominated as a winner is an affirmation of the quality of service by the Commission in the teaching professional.

It is truly gratifying to see one of our teachers being honored for their hard work on such a prestigious continental platform.
