Over 300 exhibitors from various sectors of the economy, including international participants fromย China, India, Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa, Canada and Nigeria to feature in the 2025 Nairobiย International Trade Fair
Edeth Onzere, the A.S.K National Chairperson has officially invited members of the public to attend this yearโs Nairobi International Fair, which will be an inclusive platform showcasing Kenyaโs agricultural strength, innovation, and trade opportunities.
She was speaking at the annual Harvest Festival event at the All Saints Cathedral, which happens a weekย before the official opening of the Nairobi International Trade Fair.
Theย event, jointly organized by All Saints Cathedral, was graced by Mrs. Agatha Thuo, CEO of ASNET.
In her remarks Agatha noted the remarkable contribution of the agriculture sector to the Kenyaโsย economy: 22% to the national GDP, employs more than 70% of the rural communities, 40% of Kenyanย population and 65% to all the Kenya’s export earnings.
Other distinguished guests included Mr. Batram Muthoka, CEO of A.S.K. and Mr. Joseph Mugoh,ย A.S.K Nairobi Branch Chairman, alongside members of the clergy, exhibitors, and stakeholders in theย agricultural sector.
The Harvest Festival is a long-standing tradition within the Societyโs calendar, symbolizing gratitude,ย unity, and the vital role of agriculture in sustaining livelihoods and powering the economy.ย
