Tanzanian music superstar Diamond Platnumz recently stirred controversy after publicly admitting he is unsure of the exact number of children he has fathered — and whether all of them are biologically his.

The statement sparked heated debate across social media, with fans and critics speculating about the paternity of some of his known children. Attention quickly shifted to his ex-lover Zari Hassan, the Ugandan-born socialite and businesswoman who shares two children — Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan — with the WCB boss.

However, Zari has firmly dismissed any doubts about her children’s paternity, stating that both of them belong to Diamond Platnumz without question.

“He wasn’t speaking about my children. He has other kids, but they point at mine because they have all the attention. If they speak about others, they won’t get the needed traffic. But my children belong to Diamond. I would have taken them to their real father if it weren’t the case,” Zari told local media.

The businesswoman also revealed that she would never allow her children to travel without her if she had any doubts, to avoid secret DNA tests.

In addition, Zari clarified her romantic past, firmly denying speculation that she ever reconciled with her late ex-husband Ivan Ssemwanga after their split.

“If I leave, I leave for good; there is no going back to that chapter. Ssemwanga is not Tiffah or Nillan’s father,” she affirmed.

Diamond Platnumz, one of Africa’s most influential artists, is known to have children with multiple women across East Africa. His recent comments have reignited discussions about celebrity relationships, fatherhood, and accountability in the public eye.
