HAVING REGARD to the Presidential Decree (D.P.R.) of 5 January 1967, no. 18, concerning the regulations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and subsequent amendments and integrations, with particular reference to Legislative Decree of 7 April 2000, no. 103, which replaced Title VI of D.P.R. no. 18/67 relating to contract employees at offices abroad;

HAVING REGARD, in particular, to art. 153, paragraph II of D.P.R. 5.1.1967, no. 18, which allows the hiring of temporary employees;

HAVING REGARD to Ministerial Decree (D.M.) of 16.3.2001, no. 032/655, registered by the Court of Auditors on 27.4.2001, which sets out the โ€œrequirements and methods of hiring contract employees at diplomatic representations, consular offices abroad, and Italian Cultural Institutesโ€;

HAVING REGARD to the ministerial authorization referred to in message Mae-3150 of 16 September 2025;

HEREBY ANNOUNCES

This Embassy intends to hire one (1) employee to be assigned to administrative assistant services, with a fixed-term contract lasting 6 months (possibly renewable once only).

Applicants may participate in the selection if they meet the following conditions:

Only candidates whose documentation appears most suitable for the role may be invited to selection interviews.

Candidates admitted will undergo an interview aimed at verifying their professional skills and aptitudes.

The selected candidate must provide the following documents:a) Birth certificateb) Certificate of good healthc) Certificates of education in authentic copy (foreign certificates must be accompanied by an official translation and a โ€œdichiarazione di valoreโ€ [statement of validity] issued by the competent Italian consular authority)d) For non-Italian citizens: residence permit (or equivalent authorization to stay).

If point (d) is not provided, the hiring process cannot proceed.

Foreign-language certificates must be duly translated and legalized.

Italian and EU citizens may instead provide self-certifications under Italian law, provided that their personal details and qualifications can be verified in Italian/EU public records.

If later checks reveal false declarations, the candidate will lose the position immediately and may incur criminal penalties under Italian law.

The chosen candidate cannot begin service until the Central Budget Office authorizes and validates the employment contract.

Personal data collected for the purposes of application, interview, and possible employment will be processed in compliance with principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, and protection of personal rights.
