President William Rutoโs aide Farouk Kibet has honoured his promise to repair the road from Tande connecting to Muriola through Namagara Market just a day after he vowed to work on it during a thanksgiving ceremony of UDA aspirant Simon Kangwana, who lost in the party primaries.
Residents have hailed the move, saying it is timely, and have vowed to rally behind the Kenya Kwanza administration while assuring to vote for the Presidentโs re-election in the 2027 General Election.
At the same time, they pledged to stand with the UDA party candidate in the by-election to replace the late Malava Member of Parliament, Malulu Injendi, who died early this year. The poll is slated for November 27, 2025.
The construction is set to cost millions of shillings as jubilations rent the air while the road repair machinery roared on site.
