Kenyan midfielder Timothy Ouma is looking forward to a great start in the Europa Conference League as his club Lech Poznan face Austrian giants Rapid Vienna.
Harambee Stars midfielder Timothy Ouma is set for his second season of European football as he embarks on Europa Conference League duties with Polish giants Lech Poznan.
Ouma, who is on a season-long deal at the club from Czech side Slavia Prague, has been getting gametime in recent matches and will be hoping that it is the same as Lech Poznan begin their second appearance in the Conference League at home to Austrian giants Rapid Vienna on Thursday evening.
The Kenyan midfielder got his first taste of European football last season when he played in the Europa League for Swedish club Elfsborg before his big-money transfer to Slavia Prague in January.

His experience and impressive performances for Elfsborg should put him in good stead for the Polish club if he is selected but Lech Poznan have their work cut out against the 32-time Austrian Bundesliga champions.
Both teams are looking for a positive start and also seeking to bounce back to winning ways as Lech Poznan drew 2-2 against Jagiellonia Bialystok in their last fixture in the league while Rapid Vienna suffered a 3-1 loss to bitter rivals Austria Vienna in the Austrian Bundesliga last weekend.
Ouma got 31 minutes in the match, coming on as a second half substitute, in what was his 13th appearance for the club in all competitions this season, having played 90 minutes in three of them.
Lech Poznan dropped into the Conference League group stages after being eliminated from the Europa League playoffs by Belgian giants Genk while Rapid Vienna got the better of Hungarian side ETO FC Gyor in the playoffs.
This is the first meeting between the two sides which makes it a challenging encounter for either side and Kenyans can watch the game from 7.5pm East African time.
