Travel entrepreneur Sarah Mtalii has spoken publicly about her desire to get married again, months after her dramatic separation from her estranged husband, Bonfire Adventures co-founder Simon Kabu.

The mother of two revealed that despite the challenges in her past marriage, she still believes in love and is hopeful that God will give her a second chance at marriage. โ€œI am praying to God to give me a second chance because I love and believe in marriage. I am hoping my next marriage will be a bed of roses,โ€ Sarah said in a recent interview.

Sarah also shared that she and Kabu have found stability in co-parenting, which has made life easier for their children. She explained that the kids now enjoy living between two homes without the toxic environment that previously surrounded them. โ€œI cannot complain about co-parenting. We are doing it well. Let me tell women in toxic marriages that sometimes co-parenting works better than a toxic marriage. I am with them during the week, and he is with them every other weekend. He can also meet them any time he wants to. The kids are happy in this situation we are in, they have two homes, they no longer see toxicity,โ€ she said.

Sarah noted that children are often deeply affected by unhealthy relationships. She encouraged parents to create peaceful environments, adding, โ€œKids see everything that happens in marriages and remember how parents treat each other.โ€

Her latest remarks come months after she accused Kabu of having an affair with his daughter, Maureen Kabu, a claim that he strongly denied. In his response, Simon Kabu dismissed the allegations and vowed to deal with his estranged wife over what he termed as false accusations. The two, who had been married for over a decade, continue to co-parent despite their public differences.

Sarahโ€™s openness about co-parenting and remarriage sparked mixed reactions online. Catherine Kitolo wrote, โ€œMarriage is only good when you are a day scholar.โ€ Shiro commented, โ€œWe hear you, co-parenting is better than a toxic marriage.โ€ Queen said, โ€œThis is every womanโ€™s prayer, more blessings Sarah.โ€ Hannah added, โ€œMarriage is a beautiful thing, Sarah if you love marriage, may God bless you with one.โ€ Njeri noted, โ€œA bed of roses and marriage cannot be in one sentence.โ€

Sarah Mtaliiโ€™s story continues to resonate with many women navigating life after separation, as she balances single motherhood, co-parenting, and hopes for a future filled with love and stability.
