The burial ceremony for the beloved entertainer, who passed away on August 1 after a long battle with illness, was held on August 11 at the Lang’ata cemetery.

Hundreds of mourners gathered to pay their last respects to the man who had been a household name in Kenya’s reggae scene for years.

Among those in attendance were his colleagues, DJs, fellow hypemen, and even bosses, who honoured him with heartfelt tributes.

His loyal fans, many draped in reggae colours, also turned out in large numbers to celebrate his life and legacy.

However, moments before the final burial rites began, confusion broke out when hundreds of fans who had not been present at the morgue demanded that MC Fullstop’s casket be opened one last time for a final viewing.

The leading preacher kindly honoured their request, allowing the casket to be opened so fans could say their final goodbyes.

The crowd was respectful as they saluted the entertainer’s open casket.
