Kenya Power has announced planned electricity interruptions across several counties on Friday, October 3, 2025. The outages, which will run between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in most areas, are part of scheduled maintenance works aimed at improving the reliability of supply.

Nairobi County

Parts of Westlands, including 3rd Parklands, Suswa Road, Kusi Lane, Ngao Road, Mpaka Road, Masnaka Road, Ndovu Lane, General Mathenge, and adjacent customers.

Kericho County

Sireng Dam, Boror Primary School, Kipsegi, Murotai Primary, and surrounding areas.

Uasin Gishu County

Olare, Ngarua, Ainabkoi, Ndanai, Chelachbei, Kapkeno, Kapchorwa, Rukuin, Kaptega, Kewet, Cheboror, and neighboring customers.

Kisumu County

Masogo Market, Ombei Market, Onyabiro, Othoo Market, Ngere Market, Ogilo, and adjacent customers.

Kakamega County

Khwisero, Mulwanda, Khumsalaba, Emalindi, and neighboring areas.

Murang’a County

Kenya Power has urged customers in the affected regions to prepare for the temporary outage. The utility emphasized that the maintenance works are necessary to enhance stability and efficiency in electricity distribution.
