This role is essential to the continuous development of online and blended learning programs at the University. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director for the Open Distance and e-Learning Department and will play a central role in designing, structuring, and uploading instructional content to the Learning Management System (LMS).

The Instructional Designer will work in collaboration with subject matter experts to develop engaging, effective, and well-structured instructional content for online courses. The role requires someone with strong expertise in instructional design, proven knowledge of modern educational technologies, and the ability to apply instructional theories to create meaningful learning experiences. The designer will also be expected to upload finalized content to the institutionโ€™s Learning Management System and ensure that all materials are aligned with the Universityโ€™s educational standards and the learnersโ€™ needs.

This position is well-suited to a professional with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in instructional design and technology. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a capacity to translate academic content into engaging learning modules for diverse learners.

The primary responsibility of the Instructional Designer is to create compelling learning activities and course content.
