Chats between gospel singer Regina Muthoni and a preacher, weeks before her death, have surfaced on social media.

Muthoni, celebrated for inspiring songs like Yesu Ulishinda and Ngai Nimwaro, passed away on Thursday, October 2, leaving Kenyaโs gospel fraternity in deep mourning.
A close friend, who discovered her body at her Githurai 44 home, recounted their final moments together earlier in the week, saying Muthoni had offered her heartfelt advice on marriage.
The friend revealed that Muthoni had asked her to bring something on Thursday, but upon arriving, she found the singer lying still. When she touched her, her body was already cold. After news of her death broke, a preacher, going by Lilly Young, shared their chats from weeks before her death.

Muthoni texted Lilly, greeting her.
The singer said she was okay and thanked God.
Lilly then said that she would tell Muthoni the following week.
On Monday, September 15, Lilly visited the singer, and she shared her appreciation by writing:
The preacher responded by wishing Muthoni a quick recovery.
In the caption, Lilly said that she had travelled from Nyeri to Nairobi to see Muthoni.
The preacher said that she also took Muthoni to a hospital for a blood test and returned her home.
Muthoni was eventually hospitalised and received a blood transfusion. She was hopeful that she would recover, but it never happened.
Netizens paid tribute to Muthoni and lauded the preacher for visiting her.

The latest cover photo showed KK with his friend Kafengo, sparking speculation about who might be managing his account.
