A total of 7048 new voters have been enlisted in the ongoing registration exercise across the forty seven Counties.

This is according to the latest statistics by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC) released on Friday 3rd October, 2025.

The statistics covering the period when the continuous registration begun on Monday 29th September to 2nd October, 2025 revealed that Nairobi county is leading with a total of 1597 new voters.

Mombasa County follows with 556,Kiambu 386, Kisii 312, and Machakos 260.

However, Lamu county recorded the lowest number with only one voter enlisted so far. Other counties that recorded the lowest numbers include; Nyamira 10, Samburu 18, Tana River 21, and Tharaka Nithi 24.

Meanwhile, a total of 259 transfers were recorded with Momabsa leading with 50, Nairobi 47, Laikipia 33, Nakuru 26 and Nyandarua 20.

The IEBC called upon all eligible citizens particularly the youths and first time voters to take advantage of the continuous voters registration opportunity to enlist as voters ahead of the 2027 General Election.
