Ugandan singer Weasel Manizo has expressed deep gratitude to his fans, family, and friends for their unwavering support following a recent accident.

In a public statement, the Goodlyfe Crew star said that despite the challenges, he remains in good spirits and is preparing for surgery as part of his recovery journey.

โ€œWe are overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of love and well-wishes,โ€ Weasel said, adding that the prayers, messages, and acts of kindness have been a source of strength for him and his family during this difficult time.

He assured supporters that both he and his family are coping well and that he is determined to โ€œbounce back stronger and better,โ€ with plans to reconnect with fans once fully healed.

โ€œYour thoughts, prayers, and messages have meant the world to us, and we are grateful for your love and care. We canโ€™t wait to see each and every one of you soon,โ€ he said.

The singerโ€™s statement comes as fans across East Africa continue to send prayers and encouragement to the artist, whose career spans more than a decade and features numerous hits and collaborations.

Weaselโ€™s accident has also drawn public attention due to ongoing investigations. Ugandan police confirmed they are holding his wife, Sandra Teta, for allegedly intentionally knocking him down with a car in a Kampala parking lot following an argument. The vehicle has been impounded and is currently at a police station.
