Ugandan singer Weasel Manizo has expressed deep gratitude to his fans, family, and friends for their unwavering support following a recent accident.
In a public statement, the Goodlyfe Crew star said that despite the challenges, he remains in good spirits and is preparing for surgery as part of his recovery journey.
โWe are overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of love and well-wishes,โ Weasel said, adding that the prayers, messages, and acts of kindness have been a source of strength for him and his family during this difficult time.
He assured supporters that both he and his family are coping well and that he is determined to โbounce back stronger and better,โ with plans to reconnect with fans once fully healed.
โYour thoughts, prayers, and messages have meant the world to us, and we are grateful for your love and care. We canโt wait to see each and every one of you soon,โ he said.
The singerโs statement comes as fans across East Africa continue to send prayers and encouragement to the artist, whose career spans more than a decade and features numerous hits and collaborations.
Weaselโs accident has also drawn public attention due to ongoing investigations. Ugandan police confirmed they are holding his wife, Sandra Teta, for allegedly intentionally knocking him down with a car in a Kampala parking lot following an argument. The vehicle has been impounded and is currently at a police station.
