The Cabinet Secretary for Roads & Transport Mr Davis Chirchir led an inspection of key Nairobi–Nakuru Highway interchanges and underpasses.

Chirchir was joined by the Principal Secretary for Roads, Eng. Joseph Mbugua, and KeNHA Ag. Director General, Eng. Luka Kimeli.

The team visited Kangemi Interchange which will enhance traffic flow into Nairobi CBD and Gitaru Interchange which will ease congestion for motorists heading to Western Kenya.

They also visited the Zambezi Underpass which will improve the safety and access for local communities.

Later they both visited the Kamandura Interchange which will also streamline movement along the busy corridor.

These projects are part of ongoing efforts to improve connectivity, cut travel times, and boost economic growth.
