The Desert Foxes of Algeria had to come from a goal down to settle for a 1-1 draw against a determined Guinea side, with Ismael Camara, breaking the deadlock from inside the 18-yard box after finding some space between the Algeria defence to find the bottom left corner.

Soufiane Bayazid restored parity for Algeria 2 minutes from time after finding the top right corner connecting Abderrahmane Meziane Bentahar.

South Africaโ€™s Bafana Bafana and Niger settled for a barren draw in the last match of the day.

The results favoured Uganda, who still tops Group C on 6 points, a point ahead of Algeria and South Africa, with Tuesdayโ€™s final games set to decide the top two finishers.

Guinea and Niger have already been eliminated from the tournament.

Algeria will travel to Kenya to face Niger on 19th August at Nyayo Stadium, while Uganda will host South Africa in a mouthwatering clash at Mandela Stadium.
