Musician Peter Miracle Baby has spoken out in defense of gospel singer and philanthropist Karangu Muraya, who is currently facing public backlash following the leak of an audio recording capturing a heated exchange with his first wife, Triza Njeri, over his alleged relationship with another woman, Carol Kim.
While much of the spotlight has been on Karanguโs troubled marriage, Miracle Baby chose a different angleโreminding the public of the artistโs past acts of kindness, particularly during his own health struggles.
Taking to Facebook, the singer shared old photos of himself hospitalized with Karangu by his side. He recounted how, despite having friends who once spent lavishly on alcohol, none came to his aid when he fell ill. Instead, Karangu was the one who immediately responded to his call for help.
โEven if people hate me today or insult me in all sorts of ways, I will always pray for this man called Karangu Muraya. May God protect him because of the good things he has done. Even if he has made mistakes, I feel his good deeds outweigh the bad,โ Miracle Baby wrote.
He further explained that his attempts to seek help online had failed until Karangu intervened, mobilizing support from the public and standing with him when others abandoned him.
Miracle Babyโs heartfelt message is both a show of loyalty and a plea for compassion. He urged critics to remember the positive impact Karangu has had on many lives, questioning who would step up to help others in need if such a man is torn down by controversy.
