Popular Kenyan content creator Eve Mungai has opened up about her private struggles, revealing she battled severe depression earlier this year.

In a candid Instagram update, Eve shared that between April and June, she was in a dark place mentally, often spending entire days in bed, barely eating, and feeling completely overwhelmed.

She credited prayer, family support, close friends, and seeking professional help as the key pillars that enabled her to gradually recover and heal.

Eve also explained her decision to step away from hosting celebrity interviews and podcasts, saying that after five consistent years of doing the same type of content, she felt burnt out.

โ€œI realized I was chasing other peopleโ€™s dreams and not my own. I needed to pause, reflect, and realign with my purpose,โ€ she said.

Addressing her personal life, Eve confirmed that she is currently single, putting to rest ongoing speculation about her relationship status following her high-profile breakup earlier this year.

Her openness has sparked conversations online about the importance of mental health awareness among young people, especially public figures and content creators who often face pressure to keep up appearances.
