A police officer has been reported dead while fighting for a woman with a fellow policeman in Kitengela.

The officer identified Manasseh Ithirus was pushed on the balcony and succumbed to the injuries, according to police statement on July 8, at 11pm.

“Police officers and DCI Personnel visited the scene at the said apartment and found a lifeless body of the deceased officer lying in the pool of blood in the parking lot in supine position,” the statement reads in part

It was further established that the deceased had called the bodaboda to drop him at the said apartment at around 1900 hrs, and he was to pick him up later.

The deceased had visited his girlfriend named Irene Wavinya, who is also a tenant at the said apartment.

Reportey, while the two were inside another man who turned out to be a police officer Abubakar Said attached to CIPU EPZ Camp Athi River also a boyfriend of the same lady visited her house.

And it’s believed a scuffle ensued between the two officers over the hot lady where the deceased was overpowered and thrown from the house through the balcony where he met his death.

Ithiru’s body that had multiple injuries on the head was moved to Shalom Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.

Meanwhile, the Wavinya and Officer Said we arrested so as to assist in investigations in a case before DCI, Kitengela.
