Late Churchill Show comedian Emmanuel Makori, popularly known as Ayeiya, passed away in 2017.

The comedian continues to live on in the hearts of his beloved family and friends.
Tamara, the late comedian’s daughter, wrote a touching tribute to her father and shared old photos of the two of them together.
Tamara’s father died when she was a little girl, and she talked about how hard it was to grow up without him.

She wrote:

His daughter’s words and remembrance broke Kenyan hearts, and they comforted her via her comment section.
She accompanied her words with TBT snaps of her father and her. In the snaps, Ayeiya lovingly held her.
The comedian was a household name on Churchill Show.
People loved him for his unique way of speaking, sharp wit, and famous phrase, ‘ayeiya, poa poa!’
Ayeiya was in a deadly car accident near the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) in Nairobi on the night of April 13, 2017 just after performing at the Churchill Show.
He died on the spot when the car he was in hit an electric pole.
His wife, Alice Njoki, and fellow comedian Paul Wakimani were in the car with him when it crashed. They both lived and were taken to Kenyatta National Hospital for treatment.
