Celebrated Kenyan TV host and media personality Azeezah Hashim has called out men who follow controversial internet personalities Andrew Tate and Andrew Kibe, labeling them as a โ€˜red flagโ€™.

Azeezah stated that many of the ideas spread by Tate and Kibe promote unhealthy relationships and toxic masculinity.

Speaking in an interview with Tanzaniaโ€™s Millard Ayo, the host expressed her concerns about the type of mindset promoted by the two influencers, stating that any man who subscribes to their ideologies is likely to be toxic.

โ€œAs a man, know how to be a man. Kwanza mwanaume ambaye anaskiza Andrew Tate, thatโ€™s an X for me coz inaonyesha you are just toxic. Sisi kwetu tuna Andrew Kibe, unaskiza hao Wanaume wawili, adios,โ€ she said.

The 10/10 host also criticized the narrative that encourages emotional detachment in relationships, particularly the idea that a man should never show too much affection or vulnerability to his partner.

โ€œMwanaume ambaye anaamini kwamba you are not companions in a relationship, kuna hii mentality ya as a man usiwai muonyesha mwanamke kwamba unampenda sana.โ€

โ€œNa pia as a lady unaambiwa, ukimwambia mwanaume unampenda sana anakuchukulia poa. Wewe nichukulie poa, utaregret,โ€ she added.
