Kameme FM presenter Gladys Muthoni wa Kirumba, popularly known as Baby Top, has taken a bold stance after being sued by Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba over alleged defamatory remarks.

Baby Top co-hosts a mid-morning show with Chef Gathemba, where gossip and current affairs are discussed with a humorous twist.
During a recent broadcast, Gathemba served Baby Top ‘tea’, claiming that Wamuchomba was a mole or spy, suggesting that her political loyalties were in question following her appearance at the funeral of Kimani Ichungwah’s father.

He claimed that Wamuchomba, who often criticises President William Ruto despite being an MP in his party, UDA, was allegedly passing information from the opposition to Ruto’s government.
While Gathemba made the claims, Baby Top laughed and questioned the source of the rumours.
Hours after the broadcast, both presenters were served a legal notice demanding they withdraw the remarks, apologise, and refrain from making further defamatory comments.
However, during their next show, the pair dismissed the severity of the letter, laughing hysterically as they read it on air.

Even when a colleague warned them about the lawyer’s fierce reputation, Baby Top remained unfazed.
