It was a seemingly simple plea but which would make a huge difference both for the student and her family.
True to his word, Koech finally delivered a brand new motorbike to Dorcasโ family, bringing immense relief to her mother, who had been carrying Dorcas on her back to school every morning.
The emotional handover marked not just a gesture of goodwill but a symbol of hope for the future of the Grade 2 girl.

Elsewhere, comedian-turned-philanthropist Eric Omondi helped struggling Gengetone artiste Shalkido using donations from his Sisi Kwa Sisi fans.
Eric was compelled to step up after Shalkido had appealed for help due to financial difficulties and offered a glimpse of his pitiable living condition.
The social media influencer shared a video of himself gifting Shalkido the motorbike, along with insurance cover and the logbook.
