Whenever she eats, there is a danger of the pus mixing with the porridge and entering her digestive system.

She relies on occasional handouts to sustain herself and her children.

Masinde noted that life has been extremely difficult because of her medical condition and hopes for a change as she appeals to Kenyans for help.
She believes that once she gets treated, she will be able to smile again and live a normal life while caring for her children.
