Before Harambee Stars defeated Morocco in their third CHAN 2024 match, some fans forced their way into the stadium

CAF promptly suspended ticket sales and later limited the number of tickets available to Kenyans to 27,000, which represents 60% of the stadium’s capacity.

After the first game, Kenya was fined KSh 2.5 million for security lapses ahead of their clash against DR Congo. Benni McCarthy’s team will face Zambia on Sunday, August 17, hoping for a win that will send them to the quarter-finals.

Kenya has done brilliantly in the tournament so far, with two wins in their three matches, including victories over Angola and Morocco while playing with 10 men.
