President William Ruto and ODM Leader Raila Odinga are at the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani for the Harambee Stars match against Zambiaโs Chipolopolo.

Other politicians who attended the game are Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya, National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichung’wah, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Lang’ata MP Felix Jalang’o and Mumia East MP Peter Salasya.
Former Chief Justice David Maraga, who is eyeing the presidency in the upcoming 2027 General Elections, was also among the spectators.
Harambee Stars won the game following a goal by Ryan Ogam during the 75th minute.
The win means Kenya will finish top in Group A ahead of Morocco who defeated DR Congo to seal position two.

As reported earlier, the president had revised his for the Harambee Stars players ahead of the Zambia game.
The head of state had promised that each player will receive KSh 2.5 million if they defeat Chipololo.
The president also promised each player KSh 1 million and a two bedroom affordable housing unit if they win their quartfinals match.
