In a very exciting match at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea beat Liverpool 2-1 thanks to a winning goal from the young Brazilian player Estevao right at the end of the game.ย

Chelsea took the lead first with a fantastic long-shot goal from Moises Caicedo.ย

Even though Chelsea had many players out due to injury, they played well until Liverpoolโ€™s Cody Gakpo scored to tie the game. But the drama wasnโ€™t over.ย

Estevao, who is only 18, came off the bench to score his first Chelsea goal deep into extra time, earning a big win for manager Enzo Maresca and raising new concerns about Liverpoolโ€™s recent poor form.

The match burst into life in the 14th minute when Chelseaโ€™s defensive midfielder, Moises Caicedo, fired a phenomenal shot from 22 yards out.ย

The long-range strike flew into the top corner of the net, giving Liverpoolโ€™s debutant goalkeeper, Giorgi Mamardashvili, no chance.ย

This goal was Caicedoโ€™s third in the league this season, showing a new attacking side to his game.ย

Despite missing many key players, including several senior defenders, Chelsea looked good early on and controlled the ball well.ย

Liverpoolโ€™s star forward, Mohamed Salah, was back in the starting eleven but struggled to find his accuracy, missing a couple of good chances.

The second half brought trouble for Chelsea as their defensive problems deepened.ย

Two defenders, Benoit Badiashile and teenager Josh Acheampong, were forced off with injuries in the 55th and 68th minutes, respectively.ย

This forced Captain Reece James and other young players like Jorrel Hato into unfamiliar defensive positions.ย

Taking advantage of the chaos, Liverpool leveled the score in the 63rd minute.ย

After a quick move, Cody Gakpo was in the right place to easily tap the ball in from six yards, scoring his first goal against Chelsea.ย

Liverpool kept pushing, sensing a turnaround, but the home side held firm and found a second wind through late substitutions.

With the game heading for a draw deep into stoppage time, the final moments delivered incredible drama.ย

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez first struck the post with a header from a corner, a near-miss that signaled the tension.ย

Just seconds later, the winning goal arrived: Marc Cucurella crossed a low ball from the left, and the young Brazilian winger, Estevao, slid in at the back post to squeeze the ball past the keeper.ย

At 18 years and 163 days old, this was Estevaoโ€™s first goal for Chelsea, and it became the second-youngest by a Brazilian player in Premier League history.ย

The match ended in celebration for Chelsea and chaos for Liverpool, whose manager, Arne Slot, was even shown a red card for protesting.ย

For Marescaโ€™s team, this victory proves their ability to fight through a major injury crisis, while Liverpool faces serious questions about their shaky defense ahead of the international break.
