Kenyan actor and media personality Daddie Marto has issued a heartfelt apology for the recent online dispute with his wife, Koku Lwanga, vowing to end the public clash and focus on protecting his family. The apology comes after a string of emotionally charged social media posts from both parties, which had drawn significant public attention and debate.

In a statement posted on his official Instagram account on Friday, Marto revealed that his decision to end the online exchange came after deep introspection and consultations with family and elders.

โ€œI am sorry for the ugliness of everything playing out online,โ€ Marto wrote, adding that he was โ€œangry, frustrated, and I broke.โ€

He acknowledged that his actions were a human response to reaching his limits.

Martoโ€™s apology signals a shift from public defense to a more private approach, emphasizing his commitment to his familyโ€™s well-being. He also introduced a spiritual dimension to his reflection, claiming he had โ€œfailed my familyโ€ by not adequately praying against spiritual attacks. He linked his past struggles to this perceived spiritual oversight, citing a โ€˜Divine Masterโ€™ who, according to Marto, had negatively impacted their marriage.

In a concluding message, Marto called on other men to learn from his experience. โ€œMen!! Take care of your homes physically, financially, mentally, physiologically and spiritually,โ€ he urged, stressing the need for spiritual protection against both internal and external battles. Martoโ€™s statement marks a clear attempt to end the public feud and move forward with a renewed focus on his familyโ€™s well-being.
