Digital strategist and Head of Presidential Special Projects and Creative Economy Coordination, Dennis Itumbi, has opened up about his long-anticipated marriage plans, addressing the constant questions from Kenyans about when he intends to settle down.

Itumbi, who was once linked to former TV journalist Jacque Maribe, clarified that their relationship has always been rooted in friendship. He was notably among those who stood by Maribe during her court case related to the death of businesswoman Monica Kimani.

Speaking on his newly launched YouTube channel, Off The Grid, Itumbi said marriage is very much in his plans, but he is waiting for the right partner.

โ€œI am always asked, โ€˜When are you getting married so you can stop making noise on social media?โ€™ And I have two answers: I will get married โ€“ on my wedding day. Number two, scripture records that he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and it is a gift from the Lord,โ€ he explained.

Itumbi emphasized that he is โ€œready, with arms stretched,โ€ but is only waiting for God to deliver the right woman.

While he did not outline specific qualities, Itumbi made it clear that he admires women who embrace their natural beauty. He openly stated that he is not a fan of wigs and believes authenticity in appearance and character is vital for a lasting marriage.

โ€œI commend women for being natural. The Bible does not say about putting effort; that is how you end up with marriages that do not work,โ€ he said.

Itumbi concluded by reassuring Kenyans that marriage will come in its own time:

โ€œI will get married on my wedding dayโ€”it shall happen.โ€
