Kakamega: An awkward moment was witnessed during the funeral of the Malava constituency parliamentary aspirant, Enock Andanje, on Thursday, August 28.

This is after the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) deputy leader Cleophas Malala hit out at National Assembly speaker Moses Wetangúla.

Malala slammed Wetangúla over the allegations of corruption in Parliament made by President William Ruto.

The outspoken politician boldly told Wetangúla to take control of the Parliament and put an end to the alleged vice.

Upon noticing that things were getting out of hand, one man tried to cut Malala’s speech short by telling him his time was up.

Hesitant Malala called out the man, telling him that whatever he was talking about was important and Kenyans should hear it.

In response, the National Assembly speaker, who had graced the funeral service, fired back at Malala.

He told the DCP deputy leader to take his politics elsewhere and not at Andanje’s funeral service, where people were mourning.
