President William Rutoโs aide Farouk Kibet today presided over a Thanksgiving ceremony in Lunyinya village of South Kabras ward the home of United Democratic Alliance party aspirant Leonard Shimaka, who lost to David Ndakwa in party primaries.
Kibet, who was accompanied by the speaker of National assembly Moses Wetangโula, and over ten members of Parliament among them John Waluke,Japheth Nyakundi,and Emannuel and Senate majority leader Aron Cheruyoti has called on electorates to hand victory to the recently nominated candidate in the by-election to be held on November 27th to replace late Malava member of Parliament Malulu Injendi.
Shimaka and his colleague Simon Kangwana have vowed to support the government.
The party popularity has grown too fast following the frequent visits by Kibet, who has always stood by the people of Malava since the demise of Injendi.
The area is strongly behind the reelection of President Ruto to serve his second in the coming 2027 general elections.
