PSG coach Luis Enrique was left feeling sad for Tottenham who dominated his team but ended up on the losing side in the UEFA Super Cup.
Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique may have been on the winning side in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday but he does not feel his side deserved the victory.
PSG beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-3 on post-match penalties to win the Super Cup but they had to do it the hard way as they came from two goals down after Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero gave Spurs a 2-0 lead inside 48 minutes.
The European champions had to wait until the 85th minute to get on target when Lee Kang-in started the comeback before Goncalo Ramos equalised deep in injury time, forcing the game into shootouts.

Enrique, however, feels his team were very fortunate to walk away with the trophy as they were out of the game for 80 minutes due to the fact that they have just returned to training while Tottenham have been in pre-season for over one month.
Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma faces uncertain PSG future amid stalled contract talks, sparking speculation over potential Premier League move.
“For 80 minutes, I did not deserve that [to win],” Enrique told TNT Sports after the match.
“I think Tottenham deserved to win the match because we feel they were in form, they have been training for six weeks, they played a great match and we have been training only for six days but sometimes football is unfair.
“I have to say that we were very lucky in the last 10 minutes, we scored two goals and my players had faith until the last minutes like our supporters but football is unpredictable and I have to say we were very lucky.”
The Spanish coach admits his team was affected by their lack of fitness, leading to a number of errors in possession which nearly proved costly in the end.

“I felt we struggled from the first minute when they touched the ball, they played without having time to think where to pass. A lot of unpredictable passes and it is difficult to play the way you want if you do not train, if you do not have time to train and it was like a miracle,” he added.
Enrique was also drawn into the rumbling story concerning goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has been cast aside, for new signing Lucas Chavelier, who was trusted between the posts on Wednesday, saying he liked what he saw from the new recruit.
“He showed a big personality which you must have if you want to stay in a club like PSG. A lot of pressure around us but I am so happy for him because he showed that personality and also for the players who came on from the bench because they are so important, they played great,” said Enrique.
PSG were returning to action since their shock 3-0 loss to Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup final in July.
Harambee Stars fans have learned the areas in Nairobi where they will watch the match between Kenya and Zambia on giant screens.
